Construction Management

EDGE realizes that the hard-bid process of obtaining a General Contractor to manage a project can sometimes be a risky venture. The low bidder is not necessarily the most qualified.

 As the Construction Manager, EDGE ensures the most qualified, service oriented team for every project.  EDGE's attention to detail and dedication to providing the owner with thorough and accurate constructibility reviews, value engineering, budget analysis and bid coverage has been commended by Architects and Owners.

EDGE's hands-on knowledge of the concrete and framing trades, as well as its exceptional experience, enables them to maintain a pulse on our industry, and to prepare practical and realistic bid packages.

The EDGE team prepares bid documents, including bidding information, bid forms, bid packages and architect-provided specifications. On bid day, EDGE performs a comprehensive review of all bid forms, and provides the owner with a detailed summary of the bids, accuracy and responsiveness of bid forms and recommendations for Prime Trade Contract award.

Once a project has bid and prime trade contracts are awarded, full time onsite management is provided, with a fully equipped jobsite satellite office. Main Office Management remains closely involved during the construction of the project and through the warranty period.

Design|Build

EDGE implements much of the same systems and philosophies for the Design/Build method of construction, as it does for construction management projects.  EDGE understands the importance of the design phase and ensures the owner will receive the most qualified and responsive design team for their project. To insure complete and accurate plans, incorporate value engineering items and modifications and obtain timely responses to owner and subcontractor inquiries, the architects becomes a consultant to EDGE.

EDGE's staff is experienced in negotiated GC and Design/Build Construction. Our Project Managers and Superintendents are well versed in maneuvering through the red tape required to obtain permits and plan approval.
