Prior to bidding a project, EDGE's estimators broadcast Invitations to Bid, via fax, to over 5,000 subcontractors and vendors contained in its database. This Subcontractor database is continually updated, to ensure qualified, broad-based coverage thus the most competitive bid possible.

EDGE's estimators are unsurpassed in their ability to accurately take off concrete and framing, for EDGE's self performed work. This expertise also gives EDGE an advantage, when bidding Multiple Prime Trade Packages.

Once EDGE is deemed the lowest responsive bidder, our Project Management Department takes over, reviewing the plans and specifications, contacting Subcontractors and processing contracts, submittals and schedules. Our Project Managers have earned the reputation for ensuring all Subcontracts are executed and submittals have been processed, often within the first 90 days on large projects and within thirty days on smaller projects, with short time frames.

A Project Superintendent is immediately assigned to the project, to allow them time to thoroughly review the plans and specifications, and initiate any Requests for Information, which may be needed prior to construction. The Superintendents are furnished with a completely functional jobsite trailer, fully equipped with a fax, phone, copier, e-mail, conference area and jobsite assistant. EDGE's field personnel are computer literate and generate their own correspondence, RFI's, schedule confirmations, etc.

EDGE's crews are highly qualified in these trades, and their desire to produce quality, cost effective work, is mirrored in the finished product.
